Swimming
Today was our last swim lesson for the current session. We went by ourselves because Daddy is in California racing this weekend. Just in time for the last class, Holly held onto the wall and kicked her legs while blowing bubbles (first time doing the 2 together!) - although she would stop kicking when she was concentrating on blowing, but she was still nearly front floating!
Holly can now:
Holly can now:
- blow bubbles when we ask her to
- dive into the water by herself (and close her mouth!) - we don't need to blow on her face anymore for "torpedoes"
- sometimes she will say "Holly under" in the tot pool and bend her legs so she goes underwater
- do an assisted backfloat and then roll over into a torpedo
- do an assisted starfish backfloat
- walk on chairs in the deep pool and go under hoops by herself
Thanks Poh-Poh for coming with us and taking this picture!
