December 1st!
Today was December 1st - that means we are now officially "allowed" to get our Christmas tree (according to Paul!). We went out in the snow to get our tree - funny how our first snowfall this year was on December 1st! We've been here to Balducci's Christmas Tree Farm a few times - near Fort Langley. We had fun looking at the different trees, warming up in the shed they have (with a fire going and free hot chocolate too!), and picking out our tree. On special years (when we got married, and the year Holly was born), we will pick a tree with roots so we can plant it. Our tree from 2002 is probably 12 feet tall now!
Our tree at home - it's bigger than we thought it was when we picked it out - somehow it grew from 6.5 feet to about 8 feet by the time we brought it home!
