First bike
We bought Holly a bike on the weekend. An early birthday present. Her little friend Ocean from our outrigger club has one and he races around on his like you wouldn't believe. It's a two-wheel bike, no training wheels, but no pedals either. Since she loves her little truck at home and drives it around the house like a maniac, we thought she'd like it. She's tried one of my old tricycles, but can't really push hard enough on the pedals yet to make it work. This one she can push with her feet and lift them off the ground once she figures out her balance.
We met my friend Stephanie and her son Ethan at the park today and we brought it with us. She's learning how to sit on it and push her feet - on Sunday when we got it, she would only walk with it between her legs. She picked out the pink helmet to match the bike and we also got her a basket so she could take things with her - today was Molly's turn to ride!
